Why we do what we do
How you help make Hollow Road Woods a reality
Hollow Road Woods was established in Central Pennsylvania in 2015. My name is Karen, and I started making designs from photos friends and family sent and asked if I could make it. I always enjoyed making things that made people smile. I still do.
Since then, my husband, Jim and daughter, Delaney have joined me. Jim is the head sander and helps pick up and stack the lumber from the sawmill. Delaney is part of the creative process for new designs. She has an eye for stain and paint colors as well.
Our designs often create laughter. I often hear “awwww, I love that”. We have created designs for new births into families and to honor those who have passed. Our designs have helped people show their love for those they cherish and others share a laugh with good friends.
